iConfirm Discussion Board Community Rules

Student-facing draft — ages 13-17
Version: BOARD-RULES-1.0
Prepared: August 23, 2026. Revised August 25, 2026.

A place for your Church group

The Discussion Board is for confirmation-related conversation with Students in your own Church group, and with your Church's Leader, who may also post announcements and replies. It is not private. Other participating Students and your Church's Leader can see what you post. Your Parent does not see the Board in real time but can request a copy of your Board history at any time.

Private reflections stay in the private-reflection area. Do not put a private reflection on the Board unless you truly want the group to see it.

Keep everyone safe

You may not post or ask for:

Do not screenshot, copy, repost, or share another Student's Board content outside the Church group without the Student's and Parent's permission. iConfirm cannot guarantee that every participant will follow this rule, so do not post something that must stay secret.

Be constructive

Blocking and reporting

You may block another Student's content from your view. Blocking does not necessarily prevent that Student from seeing content you post to the group.

Report a specific post or reply if it breaks these rules. A report hides the content while your Church's Leader reviews it. Good-faith reports are welcome even if the Leader later restores the content. Deliberately using reports to target or silence someone can lead to limits on your own Board access.

This is not an emergency channel

The Board and report button are not continuously monitored and are not counseling, clergy, emergency, or child-abuse reporting services.

Do not post a crisis or abuse disclosure expecting iConfirm to summon help. Your Church may have its own safeguarding process outside the app.

What can happen after a rule violation

Your Church's Leader considers seriousness, context, and repeated behavior. Possible actions are removal, a warning, a temporary posting restriction, suspension, or permanent loss of Board access.

Certain conduct can cause immediate suspension without prior warnings: apparent sexual exploitation or grooming, requests for sexual images, credible threats, doxxing or location exposure, trafficking or enticement, serious targeted harassment, or attempts to evade a safety restriction.

A Parent or Student may ask the Church's Leader to review a moderation decision. BIBS may separately restrict content or access when necessary for platform security or legal compliance.

Your choice

[ ] I have read these rules. I understand that the Board is visible to my participating Church group and my Church's Leader, is not private, and is not an emergency channel. I agree to follow the rules and to use blocking and reporting in good faith.
